Office Policies
We would be pleased to provide you with more information about these policies at your next visit to Salveo.
Please note changes to the No Show Policy as of July 1, 2010.
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO PATIENT LATE ARRIVAL POLICY OCTOBER 25, 2011.
1. Patient Late Arrival Policy
Any patient arriving more than 5 minutes after his/her scheduled appointment time will be subject to the Patient Late Arrival Policy.
- If the patient is more than 5 minutes late for his/her appointment he/she will be reminded of our Late Arrival Policy and this will be noted in the patient chart.
- If any patient is greater than 5 minutes late for his/her routine appointment, the appointment will be rebooked and an invoice in the amount of $50.00 will be issued for the missed appointment.
- If any patient is greater than 10 minutes late for his/her complete physical appointment, the appointment will be rebooked and an invoice in the amount of $100.00 will be issued for the missed appointment.
- Future appointments will not be booked until all invoices owing are paid in full.
We apologize for those occasions that the physician is behind schedule – we hope to keep these to an absolute minimum.
2. Patient No-Show Policy
A patient will be allowed three No-Shows. On the occasion of the first "No-Show" appointment, the patient will be invoiced the appropriate amount of the missed appointment. No further appointments will be booked until the invoice has been paid in full. If a patient has three No-Show Appointments he/she will be terminated by the practice.
3. Cancellation Policy
Please cancel your appointments 24 hours in advance so that the time allotted can be given to others. All Late Cancellations will be invoiced the appropriate amount of the appointment. No further appointments will be booked until the invoice has been paid in full. After hours cancellations can be left on the office voice mail by calling our direct line: (403)444-0428.
4. Abuse of Staff
Abuse of staff either over the phone, in writing, online, or in person will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate termination.
5. Designated Physician
Once a patient has been accepted into one of the Physician’s Practices, that patient will not be able, at any point, to transfer to another physician within the clinic. When appointments/visits are required that patient will be placed with his/her physician or his/her designate unless either are not available. If you are a personal friend of one of the physicians, it is the policy of the clinic that your designated physician be one of the other physicians in the clinic.
