Dr. Tara Martin

I originally grew up in Central Alberta in the town of Lacombe.  I moved to Edmonton after high school to do three years of a Science degree before completing my undergraduate medical training in June of 2010 from the University of Alberta. I have just made the move to Calgary to begin my Family Medicine residency program.

I love to run and bike outside, and I have been exploring the city’s many fantastic trails. I’m looking forward to the mountains in Calgary’s backyard! I hope to get there to enjoy cross-country skiing and for some hikes this year.  I also like to cook and bake and am always looking for new recipes to try.

It has been a great move to Calgary so far. I am very excited to join the Salveo Family Medicine Clinic, and for this opportunity to further my training. I am looking forward to getting to know the patients and families of the clinic!
