Dr. Maria F. Malagon

Dr. Maria Malagon is on maternity leave until further notice!

My passion for Family Medicine began while working as a general practitioner in a little town in Colombia, where I was born and raised.  I completed my Medical degree in Bogota, at the National University of Colombia.

My husband and I moved to Calgary a year later.  Here, I had the opportunity to train as a Family Doctor at the University of Calgary. Since graduating in 2005, I have worked in both primary care and acute care settings in various clinics in Calgary and at the Rockyview General Hospital.

My other interests in life include cooking, reading, music, going for walks with our puppy and visiting with friends and family.

I have enjoyed working at Salveo clinic since I joined in 2008 and look forward to meeting you and working with you.
