Dr. Joaquin Palencia

Dr. Palencia's desire to pursue medicine spawned from a talent for science and the drive to challenge himself in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia (one might recognize this as the birthplace of Spanish singer 'Shakira'). He attended the University of Cartagena and practiced for 2 years in Colombia.

He then moved to Calgary with his wife, worked in a number of places around the city, and finally ended up here with us at Salveo.

He claims to be lazy (though we don't see much of that around here), but when he isn't relaxing in a hammock he enjoys carpentry, sailing and baseball.
