Dr. Bjorn Larsen  

I'm a husband, a father and a family physician.  I'm enthusiastic about family medicine and can honestly say that I love my work.  My schooling from elementary school, to medical school, to residency has been here in Calgary - Calgary is my hometown.  I trained in English literature before entering medical school and love to chat about 19th century poetry and contemporary Japanese literature.  I speak mandarin Chinese, in case you'd like to.  I'm interested in family and individual counselling as part of my family practice, have a special interest in pediatric care (I have 4 children), and believe strongly in practicing preventative medicine rather than just "putting out fires."
